Beautiful hotel. Very clean and well taken care of. Service in the bar very friendly and food in the restaurant very good.
Breakfast is limited to a lot of muffins and croissants. Floor in breakfast area was sticky.
I loved the decor of the hotel; it was chic, modern, and a little bit funky.
This hotel was superb in every aspect; the staff was professional and courteous, the rooms immaculate and inviting and the breakfast good and plentiful.
This is a very tastefully renovated old factory building. Rooms were large and comfortable. Convenient for Lancaster city centre and the Amish country.
Sound insulation was surprisingly poor for such a substancial building.
Food was the best part.
Hotel was dark. Better lighting would improve it's ambience. Light over our table at breakfast was out. But overall, the hotel was dark even without the light that was out.
Loved the room and the shower. We were close to a restuarant and even though we were in the city, the atmosphere of the complex made it seem more secluded.
When I tried to checkout in the morning there was noone at the desk or in the lobby, so I never got a final bill
The hotel is nice, good design. It is very clean. It is well located.
The service is average and not very courteous. The sound is travelling easily across the walls...
Excellent renovation of an industrial setting. Friendly staff and excellent restaurant. The room was very nice an spacious.
The area of town where the hotel is located is not very scenic. However, I would stay in the hotel again if I am ever in Lancaster.
Some of the staff were quite unhelpful. We had a serious problem with the toilet that they couldn't fix and we got moved to a smaller room. No money was taken out for the inconvenience. The offer at breakfast was quite good but they were always running out of someything and one day we had to wait over 15 minutes for bowls. The hotel is very cute although a bit out of town but it's not run professionally.
The warmth, ambience and quietness of the brick buildings; the sense of history and heritage, along with the generous sized suite in which we were booked made this a very pleasant experience for a couple travelling in Penn for the first time.
The fun of having the the wedding reception and the hotel room at the same location
The room was comfortable and beautiful. Staff was courteous and friendly. Would definitely recommend it!
The complimentary breakfast was a little disappointing...coffee was cold and several platters needed refilling. However, by the time we left, fresh fruit had been brought out and coffee carafes replaced.
Noise Noise Noise. We moved to the 4th floor to make just bearable. Squeaky floors and lack of noise insulation between walls.
Hotel was superb by far the best Hotel we stayed at during our us tour.Highly re commened a stay here and a visit to the Amish Community 20 minutes away.Be sure to have dinner at the Hotel it was superb
We stayed there over the weekend and it was nice. We liked the outdoor courtyard and the set up of the hotel. We had 2 of our kids with us and while it was not set up to be kid friendly the staff was very accomidating to children. The bathroom was really nice and the room had high cellings so it was very open.
We were not told when checking in what time check out was or what time the breakfast that was included ended at or any information on the area or things going on at the hotel.
old factory superbly restaured!
breakfast in the bar room, far to dark
